Big hoop made of thick walled PE-pipe. The connecting ferrules are welded to the hoop in a unique procedure. Slipping of the ferrules is absolutely impossible. The hoops are light, elastic and have a good stability. Some two years ago we have developed these hoops for bigger size fyke nets where stainless steel hoops got too heavy and difficult in handling. In the meantime these are the only ones used by almost all of our customers. As these hoops have a slight buoyancy they can't sink into soft mud or chafe on the bottom. Because of the light weight handling of big sized fyke nets became much easier.
