Marker buoy | double eye | B61 | red
A high quality buoy / fender made of UV-resistant PVC. The top with rope eye consists of solid material. The valve is of metal. Each buoy is being tested before it leaves the factory.
The stated dimensions of circumference, diameter or buoyancy are calculated at a pressure of 0,15 bar and a temperature of 20°C. This pressure should not be exceeded. Overinflation will weaken the buoy / fender and voids the warranty. Under tropical conditions the pressure has to be reduced by 0,05 - 0,06 bar. The use of a pressure gauge is recommended. These buoys are widely used as fenders too.
As surface float the maximum load should not be more than 60 % of the stated total buoyancy because additional load caused by marine growth, waves, currents and wind have to be considered.
When used as floatation under the surface depending on the water depth we indicate the remaining buoyancy as follows:
10 m water depth = approx. 50 %; - 20 m = approx. 33 %; - 30 m = approx. 25 %; - 40 m = approx. 20 %; - 50 m = approx. 17 %; - 120 m approx. 7 %

Cleaning: Soap and water, Vinyl cleaner or mineral spirits are suggested. In no case lacquer thinner or Acetone should be used as this would destroy the material and make the product useless.
