Gillnets

All mesh sizes are stated in half mesh. To get the full mesh information, just double the mesh size data.

Gill nets are passive catching instruments which offer the possibility for selective fishing.

With the float and lead lines you can adjust the net exactly for your need. So the net can be set on the ground if the leadline is heavier than the floatation of the floatline. The other possibility is to use a very light weight on the bottom, so the net will float. Depends on where the fish is.
