Fykes

Fykes serve as passive fishing gear. Fishes and crabs enter the fyke through the entrance. Because of the funnels it is nearly impossible to leave the fyke. Generally bait is not needed. Fykes can be combined in different variations with leader nets. The most common variations are:

• Fyke body with two wings

• Double fyke, two fyke bodies with a leader net
