Dyneema SK75 rope is a cutting-edge material designed for demanding applications. Made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), it is renowned for its exceptional strength and durability. With a diameter of 10 mm, this rope offers impressive breaking strength at minimal weight. It is buoyant, UV-resistant, and abrasion-resistant, making it ideal for maritime use, sailing, or industrial applications.
Benefits of Dyneema SK75 Rope
The Dyneema SK75 rope stands out with numerous advantages. It is lighter than steel cables but offers comparable breaking strength. Thanks to its low stretch properties, it remains stable and reliable under high loads. The special coating provides additional protection against environmental factors and extends the rope's lifespan. Additionally, the material is easy to splice, simplifying handling and increasing efficiency.
Applications of Dyneema SK75
This rope is perfect for various applications. In water sports, it is often used as a sheet or halyard because it maintains its shape even under heavy stress. In industrial settings, it is employed in lifting and securing systems where high strength and low weight are critical. It is also popular in outdoor activities like climbing or camping due to its reliability.

Here an example:
A steel wire rope with 24mm diameter, a length of 25 metres and a weight of approx. 50kg being used for recovering a tractor sunk on swampy ground can replaced by a Dyneema rope with 20mm diameter and a weight of 5,5kg only. Contrary to a steel wire rope a Dyneema rope can easily be stowed on the tractor.
Splicing:
On request we can supply these ropes with soft eye splices or splices with stainless steel thimbles or steel pipe thimbles. Please keep in mind that all splices, no matter whether with steel wire or fibre ropes, will weaken the breaking strength by some 10 - 20%. Dyneema ropes should not be loaded with more than 20 % of their breaking load and should not be knotted or used with wire rope clips.
