Due to the production process this netting is being produced and heat set in the length direction. In case you want a cut from the length please state the required length in metres. The length is measured with stretched (closed) meshes. Please keep in mind that with opened meshes the netting gets up to 30 % shorter

Polyester (PES) material is UV-resistant. Knotless netting of PES has a smooth surface and has a better abrasion resistance compared to nylon. It has no exposed knots which can be chafed away. A further advantage of knotless netting is the exact mesh size. There are no knots which might slip. Because of these characteristics it is the ideal material for making eel fykes, fish cages (pens)  and other fishing gear.

Damages from Mitten Crabs are much lower in comparison to knotted or even knotless nylon netting. Marine growth is less and the netting can be cleaned easier. The skin of the fishes does not get hurt because of the smooth surface.

In general this netting is being produced with diamond shape meshes If required at relatively high costs (waste of material and working time) this netting can be cut to square mesh shape. Diagonal joining seams would have to be accepted.
