The outstanding characteristic of Nylon is that it sinks in water. The moisture absorption is approx. 5 - 7%, the material stretches when wet in the same proportion. Produced of endless multifilament with right hand lay. PU treated for shrimp netting, allows stronger knots.

The break load has been determined in a mechanical testing environment. The twine has been slowly charged with more and more weight until it broke. Depending on the type of load the results may vary.
